Short answer
TakeHomeClear — What you really take home. Canada take-home pay calculator for 2026: salary after tax by province and territory, with federal and provincial income tax, CPP, CPP2 and EI.
TakeHomeClear editorial team. We check every calculation against the rates published by the Canada Revenue Agency (T4127 payroll formulas and T4032 payroll tables) and by provincial and territorial finance ministries.
What we do
TakeHomeClear publishes free calculators and tables, with no sign-up, so anyone can check figures that affect their money for themselves. Every page explains its assumptions, links to the official rates it is based on and shows the date it was last reviewed. The calculators run in your browser: we do not store the figures you enter.
Where our figures come from
We only use primary sources: legislation, rates published by the tax authority and government statistics. When a rate changes, we recalculate every affected page and update its review date; if a figure has not been published yet, we say so on the page instead of guessing.
- Current year tax rates and income brackets, 2026 (Canada Revenue Agency)
- T4127 Payroll Deductions Formulas, 123rd edition, July 1, 2026 (CRA)
- T4032 Payroll Deductions Tables 2026 (CRA)
- CPP contribution rates, maximums and exemptions (CRA)
- Second additional CPP (CPP2) contribution rates and maximums (CRA)
- EI premium rates and maximums (CRA)
- Ontario Health Premium (Government of Ontario)
Independence and funding
TakeHomeClear is not part of any government body, bank, accountancy firm or insurer, and no company pays to change what our calculators show. We are funded by Google AdSense advertising, always labelled as such. Any sponsored link is labelled "Sponsored".
Corrections
If you find a mistake, email hello@takehomeclear.com with the page and the figure. We check it against the official source as a priority and, if it needs correcting, we update the page and its review date. Our figures are estimates for general guidance and do not replace advice from a qualified professional.
